The perfect kick-off: the first winner at the GHPC is Markus Saurugg!

The Austrian fans were ecstatic: the winners of the first jumping competition were Markus Saurugg on Success (125 cm) and Carey Shane on Trebox Acorada (130 cm).

The opening day of the CSI3* tournament in Treffen went smoothly: the first competitions started in the ideal setting of the large GHPC indoor arena, with the victory in the first jumping competition (125 cm) going to Markus Saurugg ahead of Christian Schranz (both AUT) and Thomas Weinberg (GER) as well as Carey Shane (IRL) ahead of Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) and Lukasz Wasilewski (POL). Next came the Youngster Tour, where Robert Puck (AUT) on Amarilles came out top ahead of Gudrun Patteet (BEL) on Fleur and Lidija Grum (SLO) with Fragile Van't. Winner of the Amateur Tour was Birgit Peintner (AUT) ahead of Franziska Binder (AUT) and Rastislav Noskovic (SVK).
