Training session with world champion Edward Gal

None other than dressage star Edward Gal visited the GLOCK HORSE PERORMANCE CENTER in September to teach local amateurs and professionals at our facility. The rush for places in the training session had been overwhelming even months before the event –

although the tickets weren't up for sale but could only be won in a raffle held as part of the dressage tournaments that took place at the GHPC in June and July. Edward Gal was delighted: "Great! This means that riders that wouldn't normally have access to one of my training sessions also get a chance." The riders, although a little excited and nervous at first, soon took on board the calm confidence of the world champion. Several invited guests watched the training units from the grandstand while enjoying treats from exquisite caterers DO & CO. As a small thank you to Edward Gal, the GHPC team came up with something truly special: star designer La Hong measured Gal for a tailor-made tailcoat. "I have three tail-coats, but none of them is a tailor-made, unique piece", said Gal, who was obviously pleased with this surprise gift and is already looking forward to his next visit at the GHPC in late September.
