Unbridled enthusiasm – Uwe Carstensen (GER) wins the Bronze Tour – Robert Puck (AUT/Carinthia) comes in second
His joy was palpable: Uwe Carstensen (GER) completed a flawless round at the Bronze Tour with Quanta 11 and truly deserved his victory. "I have never seen anything like it", he beamed when interviewed after his victory by EAV star Klaus Eberhartinger. "The atmosphere is amazing... I feel like a top-star rider and it is simply great to experience something like this."
The victory at the end of the Bronze Tour may have gone to a German rider, but one name is slowly but surely establishing itself as an absolute GHPC star: Robert Puck is visibly at ease here in Treffen and his horses are doing great. He came second with Ambelina JB, yet another top rank notched up by the Carinthian rider. Incredibly strong also Belgium's Amazon Annelies Vorsselmans who came in third with Eurocommerce Torino.
Three more Austrian riders made it into the ranking: Styrian Barbara Belousek impressed with up-and-coming talent Bogegaardens Apollonia and a flawless round, securing her 11th place. Right behind her came Carinthian Alpenspan team rider Dieter Köfler with Glocks Zyrano, and at 14th place came Vienna's Franz Aschenbrenner on Continue A, bringing the total number of Austrians in the ranking up to four.
