Successful Olympic Games

It was already for the fourth time that GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud represented the Dutch colors at the Olympic Games in Paris. This time, the experienced dressage rider entered the starting line with 13-year-old Hanoverian stallion GLOCK’s Toto Jr.

The Dutch team had already qualified in the Grand Prix for the team medal decider in the Grand Prix Special. A hot lead for Hans Peter, not only because of the temperature in Versailles, but also because Toto Jr. had fallen in love with a mare in the warm-up arena. In the end, the duo were able to deliver a beautiful test at 72.578%:

“I’m really happy that the Dutch team put in a great performance and that we’ve qualified for the Grand Prix Special. Tomorrow Toto Jr. gets a nice day off so that he can recharge his batteries ready for the Grand Prix Special,” said Hans Peter after his ride.

In the Grand Prix Special, the duo managed a super round with a score of 72.644%. Together with the results of Emmelie Scholtens and Dinja van Liere, the Oranje team finished fourth at the Olympic Games, narrowly missing out on a medal.

They were incredibly impressive games in front of a unique backdrop. Thank you Paris, thank you France!
