Victory for GLOCK’s Massimo
As a premium stallion, GLOCK’s Massimo came directly from the Hanoverian stallion licensing to the Glock Horse Performance Center in 2017. Now the first licensed son of GLOCK’s Toto Jr. (x Bretton Woods x Ferro) is in the middle of his training. GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud has only recently started presenting the now seven-year-old stallion at tournaments and, by 2023, had already succeeded in riding this smart Hanoverian stallion, bred by M. van Cortenberghe, into the final of the World Championships for six-year-old dressage horses.
This weekend, GLOCK’s Massimo made his debut under Hans Peter Minderhoud in the Prix St. Georges, which he won with 73.750% by a large margin. “He behaved like a pro”, said a delighted Hans Peter Minderhoud about the victory, “the trotting work went very well, occasionally you could tell it was his first time.” With a score of 73.750%, Hans Peter and GLOCK’s Massimo also met the required criteria of at least 71% for participation in the national dressage championships.
