Carlotta 232 is GLOCK’s Youngster Tour champion mare

Today’s final day of show jumping at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER was opened by 34 seven and eight-year-old youngster horses. In the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour Final over 1.35 m, the way to victory led over a basic course consisting of twelve jumps and 15 obstacles as well as a shortened jump-off course consisting of seven jumps and eight obstacles.

Following penalty-free rounds, eleven duos entered the decisive jump-off. Here in most cases it was a knock-down at the final oxer on the long side that thwarted the riders’ hopes. But just seven-year-old Carlotta 232 under Emanuele Gaudiano (ITA) had no problem with it. The two sped round the course in 35.26 seconds, securing victory just as they had on Thursday.

Second place went to eight-year-old GLOCK’s Debalia under the saddle of GLOCK rider Gerco Schröder (NED). This powerfully-jumping daughter of Numero Uno did not touch any of the bars and galloped under her experienced rider over the finishing line in 37.17 seconds. Third place was taken by Oldenburg mare Chacclana under Polish rider Jaroslaw Skrzyczynski (38.47).

Nineteen-year-old young European Championship rider Alessandra Reich (AUT/OÖ) and her eight-year-old son of Quintender, Quatro Rubin, delivered the best Austrian result in ninth place (4/45.05 in jump-off).
