EC 13th place for Hans Peter and GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P.

The second highlight of this season, after the Olympic Games in Tokyo, are the European Dressage Championships in Hagen a.T.W. from September 7-12, 2021. With Hans Peter Minderhoud and GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P., Team GLOCK provided an experienced duo for the Dutch team. GLOCK Rider Edward Gal did not compete, as his top horse GLOCK’s Total US is only nine years old and more than deserves a break after the Olympic Games.

Together with Dutch teammates Adelinde Cornelissen with Governor-Str (72.484%), Marlies van Baalen with Go Legend (72.531%) and Dinja van Liere with Haute Couture (74.208%), Hans Peter Minderhoud on GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. placed fifth with the best Oranjes team score of 74.503%.

In the individual ranking after the Grand Prix, the 13-year-old son of Vivaldi x Ferro, under GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud, was placed 13th, even though Hans Peter did not yet have “that” feeling on his black stallion. In the Grand Prix Special the next day, the duo unfortunately made very expensive mistakes in the changes and finished the tournament with 73.632% and 16th place.

Because, even though Hans Peter succeeded in qualifying with GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. among the best 15 for the final musical freestyle, the GLOCK Rider did not compete. The handsome stallion had not shown his usual form over the previous few days, so now he gets a well-deserved break.
