Irma Karlsson unbeatable in the GLOCK’s CSI2* Tour

The starting bell tolled exactly 28 times today in the second GLOCK’s CSI2* Tour. The two-phase show-jumping test over 1.45 m invited riders to have the horses canter more speedily and also offered the chance to save some time with tight turns on some of the course lines.

This is exactly what Swedish rider Irma Karlsson did. With her 13-year-old SWB mare Balahe, daughter of Baloubet de Rouet, the Young Rider European Champion 2014 remained penalty-free in both rounds and managed to achieve the minimum time of 28.31 seconds. "Refreshed by the sensational food at the beautiful GLOCK Riders Lounge and a great horse like Balahe – what could go wrong?" the talented rider pointed out with a smile in the winner’s interview.

Second place went to the winner of today’s first CSI* test, Philipp Schober (GER). In 29.47 seconds he piloted the eleven-year-old Zandigo TS to the finishing line, third came Bram van der Pluijm (NED) in the saddle of Kalix (0/30.96).
