Nations Cup Victory and top ranks

When the Dutch team goes to a Nations Cup event, GLOCK rider Gerco Schroeder is almost always a member of the 'Oranje' team. Indeed, so it was last weekend (July 9th till 12th, 2015) at the CSIO5*-NC Falsterbo (SWE). With GLOCK's Cognac Champblanc, GLOCK's Lausejunge and GLOCK's Debalia, the Olympic squad rider set off for Sweden’s south-eastern tip and achieved extraordinary results.

Gerco took seven-year-old GLOCK's Debalia to the start in the Horseware Championship tests for seven-year-old horses (1.35/1.40 m). Not only on Thursday but also on Friday and Sunday, the daughter of Numero Uno x Lupicor remained penalty-free, actually achieving second place in the finale.

GLOCK's Lausejunge also confirmed his enormous jumping power in the demanding CSI5* tests.  With this just eight-year-old son of Ludwigs As, raised in Westphalia, on Thursday (1.45m), Friday (1.45m) and Saturday (1.50m), GLOCK rider Gerco presented three flawless rounds in which 'Lauser' didn’t touch a single bar.

Before the Nations Cup on Friday, Gerco and twelve-year-old GLOCK's Cognac Champblanc kicked off on Thursday with the CSI5* opening test. In their usual magnificent manner, the duo mastered the course over 1.45 metres and stayed penalty-free with ease. In the Nations Cup, the Dutch chef d'equipe Rob Ehrens banked on Harrie Smolders (Emerald), Maikel van der Vleuten (VDL Groep Verdi TN NOP), Leopold van Asten (VDL Groep Zidane) and GLOCK rider Gerco with GLOCK's Cognac Champblanc. The team was the only one to remain penalty-free, thus impressively securing their victory in the Furusiyya FEI Nations Cup™ Falsterbo.
