Welcome to GLOCK's Lausejunge!
The cheeky horse certainly lives up to his name, which is the German for “little rascal”. On the course he’s a real fighter with enormous jumping capacity. The eight-year-old gelding GLOCK’s Lausejunge is another great hope for the future for GLOCK Rider Gerco Schroeder and the latest member of Team GLOCK.
The handsome Westphalian gelding from Ludwig AS x Cornet Obolensky comes from the breeder Antonius Schulze-Averdiek. To date he was presented by German rider Jana Wargers and Michael Cristofoletti from Italy, demonstrating incredible development. At the beginning of 2014 he was allowed to sample tournament atmosphere for the first time. One year later, Lausejunge was already completing his first two-star Grand Prix and promptly came fifth. At the age of seven, Jana Wargers presented him at the World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses where he remained penalty-free three times in three starts.
Now the eight-year-old gelding is part of Team GLOCK and will be able to continue his development under GLOCK Rider Gerco Schroeder. “I was really thrilled when I was able to ride him for the first time. He was very fresh, a little jaunty, but also highly motivated. He is extremely smart at the jump and has great basic speed. I’m looking forward to presenting him in future and, little by little, taking him on to more challenging tasks. I would like to thank the Gaston und Kathrin Glock family for making such a fantastic horse available to me. I really am very happy with my “little rascal”, my ‘Lausejunge’!”
