"Little Star" shines in Intermediate I – dressage queen Isabell Werth (GER) dominates again – Timna Zach in second place
"It could go on like this, but I don't think it'll be easy," said dressage queen Isabell Werth after this morning's performance in the CDI3* Intermediate I with Der Stern OLD, which she affectionately calls "Little Star". It was the second day and the second win for her with a good score of 73.263%. The judges unanimously put the German and her 11-year-old Dormello son with his incredible movement dynamics and superb basic gaits in first place – and rightly so.
Although there is always considerable pressure to do well at home, Carinthia's Timna Zach easily took it in her stride. A strong performance with 11-year-old Glock's Flirt De Lully and a total of 68.289% meant a sensational second place for her today! Also flying Austria's colours was Stefanie Palm and her 8-year-old Royal Happiness (67.632%) in third place – the second top result for the likeable rider from Tyrol.
