Fantastic weekend for Gerco and the GLOCK horses!

"I’m proud of all our GLOCK horses. They’ve been simply fantastic again this weekend!” –GLOCK Rider Gerco Schroeder’s (NED) statement summed up the successful event weekend at the CSI1* CSI3* Twente (NED) perfectly. For this event from 25th till 28th of June 2015, with GLOCK's Debalia, GLOCK's Champions Ludwig, GLOCK's Lausejunge and GLOCK's Chamonix, Gerco had brought along the youngest of his GLOCK horses and was visibly delighted with the brilliant performance of his youngster aces.

In the CSI1* Gold Tour Gerco started with seven-year-old Uno daughter GLOCK's Debalia and eight-year-old GLOCK’s Champions Ludwig raised in The Netherlands. Both 'Debalia' as well as 'Ludwig' did a fantastic job in the tests over 1.30 metres. They remained fault-free on Thursday and Friday and were seeded by jumping to eighth and eleventh places respectively on Saturday.

For the CSI3* Gold League over 1.40 metres, the Olympic team rider Gerco, relied on nine-year-old GLOCK's Chamonix. The son of Castillo, of Westphalian breeding, shone in all tests with flawless rounds, coming eighth on Friday and fifth on Sunday under Gerco.

Powerful GLOCK's Lausejunge impressively confirmed his reputation as a rising Grand Prix horse. In the qualifications for the CSI3* Grand Prix over 1.50 metres on Sunday, the eight-year-old Westphalian horse seemed to master the courses with great ease. The Grand Prix on Sunday counted as a qualification test for the European Championships 2015 as well as for the Olympic Games 2016, thus presenting a considerable challenge. 'Lausejunge' compliantly followed Gerco’s lead through the course over 1.60 metres, jumping brilliantly and finishing with just one fault as number 18 of 60 participants.
