First GHPC triumph for Christian Juza

At the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, Christian Juza from Salzburg is one of the longstanding guests, yet victory had eluded him all that time. But his time had come at last in the CSI1* GLOCK’s Medium Tour today. In the saddle on Mister Z, he succeeded in beating 18 competitors in the standard show jumping over 1.30 m, securing his chance to accept the much-coveted GLOCK winner’s trophy. “Of course we’re always being reminded that we have good horses under our saddles. That makes winning easier too. I’m very pleased to have Mister Z available to me and offer my thanks to his owners” he said at the interview, fresh from victory.

Thanks to a penalty-free round in 59.82 seconds, Christian Juza was able to push the Italian Luca Coata, with Ouite Beauty, to a close second place (0/60.20). Third place went to the also penalty-free 61.72 seconds of Amber Meijer (NED) and the just-seven-year-old KWPN mare Feline Hbc. Benjamin Saurugg (St) on Contador, Anna Markel (NÖ) on Drogba and Georg Hladik (NÖ) on Obora’s Partano succeeded in taking places eight, nine and eleven.
