5-star-placement for Gerco & Debalia

The Longines Global Champions Tour & Global Champions League is quite rightly also called the “Formula I” of equestrian sports. Featuring top-ranking prize money, this tour stops off at the world’s most exclusive locations to present the world’s best show jumping riders. GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder is also a member of this elite circle and will be going to the start for the Prague Lions in the Global Champions League. Last weekend (10th till 12th of August) it was the “home event” of the Global Tour, given that tour founder Jan Tops had sent out invitations to his impressive venue in Valkenswaard.Gerco participated with ten-year-old Numero Uno daughter GLOCK’s Debalia and his Olympic horse GLOCK’s London at the Tops International Arena. Together with his team colleagues from the Prague Lions, Niels Bruynseels and Peder Fredricson, Gerco came ninth in the saddle of GLOCK’s London in the Global Champions League, Valkenswaard. Currently the team ranks 10th in the Global Champions League 2018. To round off the weekend, Gerco rode GLOCK’s Debalia on Sunday in the 5-star, world ranking show jumping test over 1.45 m to an excellent 5th place (0/64.18).
