GLOCK’s Youngster Tour victory for the Netherlands

At the close of the second day of International Show Jumping at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER, once more the arena was the domain of those talented young horses. For the seven and eight-year-old horses in today’s GLOCK’s Youngster Tour it was to be a two-phase special over 1.30 m to 1.35 m jumps. Course designer Franz Madl and his team had laid the course out in such a way that it gave the young horses sufficient space to canter.

Finding the best solution for the task was seven-year-old, Dutch-raised Glamour, daughter of Numero Uno, under her rider Sjaak Sleiderink (NED). Yesterday the duo occupied third place, but today they completed the second phase of GLOCK’s Youngster Tour fastest of all in 30.16 seconds and could celebrate victory as a result. “I’m delighted to have won here. I anticipate a great deal more from this horse in the future.”, were the winner’s words of praise for his young star horse.

A penalty-free round in 30.97 seconds saw the eight-year-old Westphalian stallion Colincor (Captain Fire x Cornet Obolensky) under Marco Kutscher (GER) in second place.

Martin Fuchs (SUI) and eight-year-old, French-raised Aladina du Val Henry, daughter of Lando, crossed the finishing line in 31.57 seconds to take third place in this GLOCK’s Youngster Tour.

Best Austrian rider Christian Rhomberg (V) came sixth with seven-year-old Westphalian stallion Der Is Et, ahead of Gerfried Puck (St), who had saddled the also seven-year-old Selle Français gelding Bingo du Parc.
