Gerco takes 2nd place in the Grand Prix of Maastricht

Celebrating on home turf makes a tournament perfect and it was with precisely this feeling that GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder left for home at the end of the well-attended CSI4* Jumping Indoor Maastricht (23-25/11/2018).

With GLOCK’s London, GLOCK’s Debalia and GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc, the Dutch rider brought three GLOCK horses to the starting line. Having run short of that last bit of luck on Friday and Saturday, Gerco then rejoiced twice on Sunday.

In the CSI4* Longines Trophy – Grand Prix of Maastricht, he qualified magnificently for the jump-off with 15-year-old GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc, son of Clearway, and achieved an outstanding second place in this world ranking jumping competition over 1.55 m. Sixth place in the CSI4* MECC Prix over 1.45 m with ten-year-old KWPN mare GLOCK’s Debalia (Numero Uno x Lupicor) rounded off this great tournament weekend in Maastricht.
