Let the CSI5* show begin!

From June 14th till 16th 2019 and for what is now the seventh time, the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER AUSTRIA is opening its gates for a 5-star event. Expected to attend International Show Jumping are the world’s best riders from 19 nations with more than 135 horses. The atmosphere of anticipation is intense because, as every year, the number of top athletes is outstandingly high.

Twelve bouts of excitement round the course
From Friday till Sunday at GHPC Austria, spectators can cheer on their own, personal idols a total of twelve times at Austria’s sole CSI5* event. At stake for the riders are not only prize money totalling 597,000 euros but also, on five occasions, points for the World Ranking list and the potential to qualify for the 2019 European Championships and the 2020 Olympic Games. So it’s no wonder that, alongside the 10 riders from among the current top 100 in the world, numerous Olympic winners, World and European Champions have announced their participation.

The opening competitions for all tours will take place on Friday (14/06) from 9am. From this moment on, spectators will be able to marvel at exciting sport, ranging from seven and eight-year-old youngster horses to the professionals, with entry free. The highlight will be the GLOCK’s 5* Grand Prix, with prize money totalling 344,000 euros, starting on Sunday (16/06) at around 2:30pm.

Alongside the red-white-red top athletes including Austria’s Christian Rhomberg, spectators can also look forward to appearances by GLOCK Rider Gerco Schröder (NED), GLOCK’s 5* Grand Prix winner Christian Ahlmann (GER), Martin Fuchs (SUI), Marc Houtzager (NED) and young Belgian star Olivier Philippaerts (BEL).

The very special flair of tournaments held at GHPC Austria is internationally renowned and bears the signature of the CEO, Kathrin Glock, in every last detail. Awaiting competitors and visitors alike are not only the sporting highlights but also a veritable world of enchantment in which breathtaking design, exquisite dining, captivating live acts and moving contributions to charities for animals and people in need take centre stage.


Industrialist Gaston Glock handed his wife Kathrin responsibility for achieving international positioning of the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER in 2010. Today not only world champions, Olympic medal holders and European champions but also international show stars are delighted to attend as guests.

Free entry to the Cooking Lounge

German star chef Alfons Schuhbeck will again be delighting one and all in his Cooking Lounge at the Glock Horse Performance Center. Here his cooking shows take place on Friday and Saturday at 11am, 2pm and 5pm and on Sunday at 11am and 2pm. All tournament guests enjoy free entry to the cooking shows.

Free entry to all sporting competitions

The tournament arena is accessible to all visitors free of charge. In the Kids Lounge and at the Pony Riding area, fun and entertainment are guaranteed for the youngsters. Dogs have been considered too of course: in the Dog Lounge there’s plenty of sustenance and the very finest of massages (by appointment and subject to availability) for your four-legged friends.
