British anthem for Elliot Gordon

Everything went right as rain. Elliott Gordon had a simply ideal round on his 13-year-old gelding No Doubt 8 in the CSI2* 1.35 m speed and handiness competition. He was fast too, clocking up 60.84 seconds, and finally emerged as the proud winner. Two local riders also did well, making it a two-three for Austria: Christian Schranz (Lower Austria) on his chestnut gelding Whisper von Lichten with a time of 62.75 seconds was just a shade faster than star rider Thomas Frühmann (Vienna) on his famous horse The Sixth Sense in 63.03 seconds. GLOCK rider Katrin Khoddam-Hazrati, the eventing specialist, also proved herself on GLOCK’s Tornado with a superb performance for eleventh place.
