Edward Gal now also in the squad for the London 2012 Olympics with GLOCK’s Undercover

Dutch dressage star Edward Gal is indeed spoilt for choice. He was already in the A team with Sisther de Jeu, who has not however taken part in international competitions since January 2012, and now, after his triumph at the Dutch championships, the three times world champion in Kentucky has been selected for the Olympic squad with two other horses. One is his winning horse, 11-year-old GLOCK’s Undercover sired by Ferro, and the other is the Rohdiamant-Grundstein II son Blue Hors Romanov that finished second both in the Grand Prix and Special.

This means the dressage star riding for the Glock Horse Performance Center has no less than three irons in the fire. The GHPC in turn has two team riders, Gal and Hans Peter Minderhoudand, and two Glock horses, GLOCK’s Undercover and GLOCK’s Tango, in the home straight for the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

The following are now on the Dutch A team:

Adelinde Cornelissen with Parzival; Edward Gal with GLOCK’s Undercover, Blue Hors Romanov and Sisther de Jeu; Anky van Grunsven with Salinero, Patrick van der Meer with Uzzo and Hans Peter Minderhoud with GLOCK’s Tango
