Fourth GHPC tournament brings the first win for Julia Kremser (GER)

The GLOCK’s Amateur Tour marked the opening today of four days of International Show Jumping at the GLOCK HORSE PERFORMANCE CENTER Austria. Twenty one contestants from seven countries showed their capabilities on the course over 1.25 m, designed by Franz Madl. Ten duos remained penalty-free.

Here one young German female rider was outstanding, because no one else completed the kick-off event any faster than Julia Kremser. In the saddle on Catminster, her ten-year-old son of Catoki, she galloped across the finish line with a best time of 68.26 seconds, thereby securing the first victory at GHPC Austria. “This was my fourth time starting here, and I always give my best. Today everything was simply spot on, and I’m really pleased of course!” was her response at the winner’s interview.

It was another lady, Isabelle Boon (NED), who took second place. She piloted Dutch-raised Vince round the course in a penalty-free 69.32 seconds. Young Katharina Rhomberg, from Vorarlberg and riding Sisi Myra, followed in third place in 69.38 seconds, thus leading the squad of a further four Austrians achieving placings.
