GLOCK riders outstanding in the Netherlands

Four wins and four placings went to successful GLOCK riders Edward Gal (NED) and Hans Peter Minderhoud (NED) at the CDI3* show in Drachten last weekend (4–6 January 2013).

In the Grand Prix on Friday the GLOCK pair Edward Gal and GLOCK’s Undercover proved that they are in a class of their own. The two won the judges’ hearts earning a score of 77.985% and dancing their way to an easy victory. Edward Gal beat himself in the process, as the Dutchman also secured second place with Interfloor Next One (72.617) ahead of GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud on Lord of Loxley (72.489).

At the Grand Prix Special on Saturday Edward Gal again chose to ride GLOCK’s Undercover. The Olympic duo were brilliant and, as the day before, the judges unanimously put them in top spot and their score of 75.833% ultimately meant a clear win!

On Sunday Edward Gal then pulled off the hat trick. His crowning glory was also winning the Freestyle to music with Interfloor Next One. On 77.350% the pair again demonstrated its strength, and second place also remained in GLOCK hands with Hans Peter Minderhoud and Lord of Loxley (75.750).

GLOCK rider Edward Gal kept up his winning streak in the Small Tour: riding Asther de Jeu the 42-year-old took first place with 77.125% in the Intermediaire I on Saturday.

At the CSI2* Indoor in Veendam (3–5 January 2013) Robert Puck (AUT) got off to a successful start in the new season with GLOCK jumpers. The 29-year-old kicked off 2013 with two clear rounds in the 1.35 m class for the Oostboog Prize and placed twelfth with GLOCK’s Zaranza (0/42.58). Puck then saddled GLOCK’s Alato for the 1.30 m InVraplus Prize and having jumped a clear round promptly qualified for the jump-off. With a time of 36.78 seconds the duo came in third behind Robert Vos (NED) and Francois Bossu (BEL). The Austrian also jumped into the top ten in the 1.35 m class for the Dakdekkersbedrijf-van-Dijk Prize, finishing seventh with another clear round on GLOCK’s Ambelina. In the 1.40 m class for the Gasuine Prize, Robert Puck on GLOCK’s Zaranza did not have any faults in the first round or the jump-off and was delighted with sixth place.
