GLOCK’s Dream Boy is „Nederlands Olympiade Paard“

The Dutch “Nederlands Olympiade Paard” (Dutch Olympic horse) foundation, in short N.O.P., in collaboration with corresponding horse-owners, strives to make sure that the best rider-horse duos of every nation are secured for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. The decision on who will be invited to the programme of the foundation is made by the chefs d’équipe responsible for their corresponding disciplines.

Five GLOCK horses have already received the honour: GLOCK’s London N.O.P., who, under GLOCK rider Gerco Schröder, won two silver medals at the 2012 Olympic Games in London as well as the team gold medal at the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Caen.

GLOCK’s Undercover N.O.P., who, with GLOCK rider Edward Gal, contributed to the Olympic bronze medal in London 2012 and to team gold at the European Championships in Aachen 2015.

GLOCK’s Johnson TN N.O.P., who, under the saddle of GLOCK rider Hans Peter Minderhoud, won a bronze medal (Grand Prix Special) and team gold in the 2015 European Championships in Aachen, along with team bronze in the 2014 World Equestrian Games in Caen.

GLOCK’s Cognac Champblanc N.O.P., who was part of the victorious team in the 2015 European Championships in Aachen with GLOCK rider Gerco Schröder and helped the Dutch équipe to come third in the Furusiyya-FEI-Nations-Cup™ finale.

GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P., an outstanding talent under the saddle and, with GLOCK Rider Edward Gal, already twice the Dutch championship winner (2017 and 2018), remaining winner at the CDIO5* Rotterdam in 2018 both in the Grand Prix (76.957 %) and the Freestyle (80.075 %), having made his World Cup debut in London (2017), he scored 83.900 % first time in the Freestyle at the World Cup in ‘s-Hertogenbosch and has now celebrated several World Cup successes.

Now that powerful mover GLOCK’s Dream Boy carries that sought-after addition to his name. Riding the now 10-year-old, KWPN-licensed stallion son of Vivaldi, GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud already took silver in 2016 at the Dutch Championships Small Tour, then silver in the Grand Tour in 2018. This handsome black horse has been trained continuously by Hans Peter and made his international debut in 2018 at the CDI3* in Nieuw en Sint Joosland. Since then, GLOCK’s Dream Boy has steadily improved and contributed significantly to the Dutch team victory in the Nations Cup CDIO5* in Rotterdam with eighth place in the Grand Prix (73.000 %) and second place in the Grand Prix Special (73.830 %).
