Grande-Prize for GLOCK’s Toto Jr.
Since 2009, the Grande-Prize has been awarded in Hanover at the beginning of the breeding season to a stallion who has had a lasting and positive influence on breeding due to his hereditary performance. In 2024, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. was awarded the Grande-Prize, proving his quality through his then ten licensed sons.
In 2013, after his licensing in Verden (GER), GLOCK’s Toto Jr. moved to the Glock Horse Performance Center and, in 2014, he passed his stallion performance test in Ermelo (NED), thus becoming the first licensed and performance-tested son of his famous sire, Totilas.
In 2020, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. was the outstanding winner of the Dutch Dressage Championships with a score of 86.15% in the musical freestyle and was named FEI Horse of the Month in December 2020. GLOCK’s Toto Jr. impressed with his excellent, extensive and clean walk. In trot and canter, he impresses with his expressiveness, light-footedness and strong uphill tendency. This strong-moving black stallion is superbly endowed in both conformation and nature. This son of Totilas passes on all these qualities, including his uncomplicated character, to his offspring.
In the Netherlands, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. has already produced several Pavo Cup finalists. In addition to GLOCK’s Taminiau, GLOCK’s King Karim, Blue Hors Kingston, Mister Maserati, Newport, O’Toto van de Wimphof and Hexagon’s Gorgeous Black, GLOCK’s Toto Jr. has already produced over 40 licensed sons.
