Great success at World Cup jumping in Budapest and dressage event in Weikersdorf

At the CSI3*-W in Budapest (HUN) (30 November–2 December2012) the GLOCK jumpers once again showed their skill in high-level international competition: Dieter Köfler started off the qualifier for the World Cup jumping and the Grand Prix on Friday by coming sixth on GLOCK’s Prince de Vaux and taking twelfth place in the 1.35 m class on GLOCK’s Zyrano. The horses kept up the good work on Saturday with Dieter Köfler finishing ninth on GLOCK’s Prince de Vaux in the World Cup jumping. In the 1.40 m class Köfler also secured fourth spot on GLOCK’s Zyrano ahead of Gerfried Puck on GLOCK’s Usrava. On Sunday GLOCK’s Zyrano excelled again with Dieter Köfler in the saddle: the pair were fifth at the end of the Hungarian World Cup event!

This weekend gave Marcel Schoenmakers the chance to prove his form is improving and nail several wins at the CDN-A* in Weikersdorf: on Friday the GLOCK rider got off to a flying start on Freaky Girl to win the M class. Together with his eighth place on 63.874% on Sunday and his performance in the first leg of the indoor cup (15–18 November 2012) it meant victory in the M class. With Marcel Schoenmakers at the reins, GLOCK’s Warana put in a consistently impressive performance in the S class tests on Friday and Saturday, winning on both days. As if the name spurred him on, Marcel was also superb on GLOCK’s Grandioso with two more wins in the FEI Intermediaire II (68.991%) on Saturday and the FEI Grand Prix de Dressage (68.972%) on Sunday. Since both events are also used in selections for international competitions, the GLOCK duo was highly successful here.
