Expected at International Show Jumping are the best riders in the world from 17 nations, accompanied by more than 150 horses. There’s a heady atmosphere of anticipation because, as every year, the number of nominated top athletes is outstandingly high.
Twelve bouts of excitement on the course
From Friday till Sunday at GHPC Austria, spectators can cheer on their own, personal idols a total of twelve times. At stake for the riders are not only prize money totalling 596,000 euros but also, on five occasions, points for the World Ranking list and the potential to qualify for the 2018 World Equestrian Games and the 2019 European Championships. From this moment on, spectators will be able to marvel at exciting sport, ranging from seven and eight-year-old youngster horses to the professionals, with entry free. The highlight will be the GLOCK’s 5* Grand Prix, with prize money totalling 345,000 euros, starting on Sunday (10/06) at around 3:30pm.
The crème de la crème of the show jumping elite are here
