Tenth champion’s title for Edward Gal

It was by a large margin that GLOCK Rider Edward Gal, riding GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P., took the Dutch Dressage senior champion’s title today. An overwhelming 83.925 % in the Freestyle meant clear victory and therefore the third champion’s title in a row with GLOCK’s Zonik (Blue Hors Zack x GLOCK’s Romanov). This makes it the tenth championship title in total for the successful GLOCK Rider.

With an energetic freestyle, GLOCK Rider Hans Peter Minderhoud gave a sparkling performance in the saddle on GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P. (Vivaldi x Ferro), also 11 years old. A score of 81.300 % meant championship silver. Bronze went to Edward’s student Emmelie Scholtens on Apache.

The Championship weekend went perfectly on the other days too. On Friday, Edward Gal rode GLOCK’s Zonik N.O.P. magnificently to score 76.630 % and victory in the Grand Prix, whilst taking the extremely fit, 17-year-old stallion GLOCK’s Voice to fourth place with 74.261 %. With GLOCK’s Dream Boy N.O.P., Hans Peter Minderhoud celebrated a successful Grand Prix with 75.652 % and second place. GLOCK’s Voice also proved himself on Saturday under GLOCK Rider Edward Gal in the Grand Prix Special with 71.574 % and second place.
