The name says it all. Killer Queen VDM wins the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour

For 32 seven- and eight-year-old horses it was time for the second competition stage of the GLOCK’s Youngster Tour. This jumping competition in two phases involved a course over 1.40 m, which precisely half of the field of starters managed to complete without penalties. Seven-year-old BWP mare Killer Queen VDM did justice to her name as the fastest horse, jumping, under Daniel Deusser (GER) in the saddle, to victory in 36.68 seconds. Ranked number two in the world, the rider summoned these words of praise for this daughter of Eldorado van de Zeshoek: “I rate this horse extremely highly. It’s her second tournament and, at her very first event, she’s won two jumping competitions. She’s already very mature for her age and she knows precisely what she has to do round the course.”

Making the same impression was Vancouver Dreams. Also seven years old, this Hanoverian mare, bred from Valentino x Stakkato, was presented by Max Kühner (AUT/T), and the duo took second place in a time of 36.92 seconds. Yesterday’s winner, Alothain de Blondel (bred from Newton de Kreisker) finished the test with rider Laura Renwick (GBR) in third place (0/37.21).
