Dressage queen Isabell Werth (GER) shines at the Prix St Georges – young talent Timna Zach (Carinthia) a surprise in fourth place
"From the floor to the stables and the officials to the staff, it is an absolutely fantastic venue. I can safely say I've seen a number of them now across the world, but this here is unique, thank you so much!" Isabell Werth, Germany's dressage queen, was the first to bring a touch of Olympic glamour to the arena at the CDI3* Prix St Georg in the Glock Horse Performance Center today and the crowds loved it. The panel of judges also came to the best unanimous decision she could wish for: first place five times over. There was no topping that. Her score of 72.342% also deserves a mention. The many times Olympic gold medallist, World and European Champion cut a fine figure in the saddle of her eleven-year-old Dormello descendent Der Stern OLD. Looking anything but old, he showed good impulsion, elegance and response to the aids.
