A wonderful Grand Prix

What an atmosphere, what a finale! The excitement could be felt among all the competitors today, as the Grand Prix was the first battle for the 2013 Reem Acra FEI World Cup™ Dressage title. GLOCK rider Edward Gal and GLOCK’s Undercover were fourth to go into the ring. During morning training, there may have been quite a lot of flowers decorating the famous Scandinavium dressage arena but there were even more for the Grand Prix.

However, guided by Edward our Frits did a very good job. “Although like many of the others he was a little tense because of the new floral arrangements, he behaved like a model horse and performed really well,” said GLOCK trainer Nicole Werner.

His piaffe/passages were virtually perfect and the tempi changes as clean as could be. Undercover is also getting better and better in terms of his frame. Two judges even saw him in top position. The Grand Prix went off without a hitch, earning him an excellent score of 78.663%. “Happy!” was how GLOCK rider Edward Gal felt afterwards about this first performance, the way the Ferro son is developing and all that he does for him. After a long wait and many nerve-racking minutes came the result: second!

Now they have some time to relax and unwind before preparing for the freestyle on Saturday. Their Secretum Revelatum is bound to be ideal for the test.
